Measure over underwear, standing straight. Use the Bust measurement to choose your size. If between sizes choose the larger size.

Fabric Requirements & Notions

Recommended fabrics: linen, lightweight wool, tweed, boucle, medium-weight woven fabrics with body. Avoid very lightweight sheers unless lined.

Printing & Assembly Instructions

  1. A4 / US Letter (tiled) — Print at 100% / actual size. Do not scale. Assemble the tiles using the test square on page 1 for accuracy.
  2. A0 (plotter) — Print at full scale if you have access to a large format printer.
  3. Layers: The PDF includes layered sizes so you can print only the size you need (recommended).
  4. Test square: each file includes a 1 cm / 1 inch test square. Measure it before cutting.
  5. Pattern pieces list and grainline markings are provided. Transfer notches and markings onto your fabric before sewing.

Suggested cutting layout

Each PDF includes cutting layouts for different fabric widths and size ranges. Follow the layout that matches your fabric width (115 cm or 140 cm).

Sewing Overview — Step-by-step (short)

  1. Prepare pattern pieces, transfer markings and notches.
  2. Sew shoulder seams on front and back, finish seams.
  3. Attach facing or neckline finishing, understitch for a neat edge.
  4. Sew side seams and press allowances open.
  5. Attach band / hem finishing and finish lower edge.
  6. Optional: add lining and understitch the lining to the facing for a clean interior finish.
  7. Press and topstitch where required. Final pressing for professional result.

Grading & Alterations

This pattern is graded across 15 sizes. Included in the instructions:
